the more I read about Georgia O'Keeffe the more I think she's my soul sister

I've been reading a very beat-up biography that I found in our local community book exchange:

Reading the way she thought about things, especially as she was developing as an artist in her 20s to 30s (my rough age range) has been really inspiring for me and has made me want to paint again. It isn't that I don't paint, I just use so many other mediums (printmaking, sewing, sculpture, etc.). So I don't usually express myself with paint. But now I'm at it again. You shall soon see :)

I'm mostly looking at her landscapes in relation to what I'm painting. Thinking of a landscape like a weaving texture in a blanket - like a serape is the source imagery for the current triptych of paintings that I am doing...
